Youth and Housing at RAY this week, Lourdes Santiago, Director of the Neighborhoods, will be speaking at our meeting about housing options in Toledo. If you are a youth in need of housing,whether you have been kicked out or are just thinking about a change, please come to this meeting. Everyone Is Gay!

On Wednesday, October 12 at 8:00 p.m., the University of Toledo will be hosting two speakers from the advice website EveryoneIsGay.Com.  The event will be held in the Student Union Auditorium and is free and open to the public.

Movie Night at People Called Women Bookstore

Looking for something fun to do this weekend?  People Called Women Bookstore is kicking off their Monthly Movie Night this Saturday, September 17 at 7:00 p.m.  The movie that will be screened is "Imagine Me & You," a romantic comedy starring Piper Perabo (Lost & Delirious; Coyote Ugly) and Lena Headly (300; T.V.s Terminator:  The Sarah Connor Chronicles).  There will be popcorn to munch on, but you should bring your own beverage... and a cushion to sit on couldn't hurt!

Got Pride?

Toledo Pride 2011 will be held Saturday, August 27th at Promenade Park.  From 2-3p, there will be a parade, followed by the Community Connections Carnival where area non-profits, faith comunities, and businesses will host information tables and games for the whole family.  From 3p-9p, there will be live entertainment and plenty of fun to be had!

Annual RAY Picnic Correction

The Annual RAY Picnic is going to be tomorrow evening at Ottawa Park near the Kenwood Ave. entrance.  RAY will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, soda and a vegetarian option.  You don't have to bring a dish, but sides, chips and desserts are welcome.  If you have problems finding us once you are at the park, please call Shannon at 567-249-7135. 

RAY urges youth that are not "out" - open about their sexual orientation or gender identity or expression - to others to think about how being identified...
